🇷🇺 The famous Russian military officer and now public figure, General Leonid Ivashov, harshly criticized the Russian government regarding the Russia-Ukraine war:

🔻”The fact that we advanced somewhere near Pokrovsk is only a tactical success; we have no successes at the operational-tactical level, and at the strategic level, we have suffered defeat in all directions.”

🔻”A strategic defeat will lead to the collapse of Russia,” – however, he did not specify what is meant by this strategic defeat.

🔻”The fact that we are isolated and the permanent members of the United Nations Security Council are making statements supporting Ukraine is already our strategic defeat.”

🔻”Our leadership boasts that no one has weapons like ours. It would be more accurate to say that nowhere else in the military field do they steal as much as we do.”

🔻”We cling to the Burevestnik missile and the nuclear torpedo Poseidon like waterlogged moss. In reality, the US will be able to destroy us before they achieve their goal if we shoot at them.”

🔻For reference: General Ivashov opposed the start of military operations in Ukraine in 2022 and urged Putin not to take this step. “This war will threaten the very existence of Russia,” Ivashov wrote at the time.
