Concealing the presence of a Russian on board the Bell-214 helicopter was very important for Moscow.
A mysterious Russian citizen, Kruchev, was on board the helicopter carrying President Iranian Ibrahim Raisi that crashed on May 19. He could be directly related to Iran’s nuclear program.

“On board the helicopter, besides representatives of Iran, there was one more foreigner, whom almost no one mentions. A citizen of the Russian Federation, a certain Kruchev,” the analyst pointed out.
According to him, this ninth dead passenger of the Bell-214 helicopter was reported only by some Iranian media, as well as several foreign ones, in particular, the Georgian online publication Business Media and the Indian Lokmat Times.
At the same time, not a single Russian media reported about the Russian on board the Iranian helicopter.
Kovalenko noted that after the disaster, “people in Russia have become much more active . ” Thus, the Iranian Ambassador to Moscow told IRNA that Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with him late in the evening of May 19, which was attended by Defense Minister Andrei Bilousov, Security Secretary Council Sergei Shoigu, Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov , Presidential Adviser Igor Levitin, and the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Alexander Kurenkov and one of the FSB officials, whose name the ambassador did not name.

“And this whole crowd was gathered only to express concern about the fate of Raisi and offer to help in the search? It is possible that a certain Kruchev was directly related to Iran’s nuclear program and accompanied by President Raisi on this trip for a reason . And the concealment of his presence on board Bell-214 was very important for Russia, and the Russian military-political leadership was concerned about the fate of this particular person in the first place,” the military-political observer expressed his opinion.
By the way, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov blamed the Americans for the death of the Iranian President. They say the helicopter crashed due to US sanctions that prohibit the supply of aviation spare parts to Iran.
