Lending b2b or b2c is one thing but when it’s dictated by public spending, rhetori from trump on tariffs would make rates spike. Servicing current debt is more than military spending. 6.4% will destroy America! Hyperinflation bro!

We still have massive debt. Interest payments are 112% of GDP, which is terrifying.

If Trump and Elon do what they suggested and greatly reduce the size of government (and by extension the Deep State), then maybe there’s hope.

Or at least a delay.

Biden / Harris added about same to National debt as Trump +/- a trillion or two. I just love that Trumper-logic.

If it was about the economy Trump would have lost. His tariff plan is a bit mad and the debt will balloon even more than Harris. Anger at inflation is a thing, but that was worldwide and is somewhat contained. It’s something else.
