Партия «Грузинская мечта» планирует изменить законодательство Грузии. Гражданам запретят голосовать за пределами страны
Согласно предлагаемым изменениям в Избирательный кодекс Грузии, граждане Грузии, проживающие за рубежом, смогут голосовать на парламентских выборах, только если приедут на родину. Об этом заявил депутат парламента Давит Матикашвили.
«Этот вопрос решается в их собственной стране, у избирательной урны, когда каждый из них решает, голосовать ли за ту или иную партию. Приедут ли они за 3 дня или за несколько месяцев, давайте не будем ограничивать это, у них есть полная возможность проголосовать в своей стране», — сказал Матикашвили.
О готовящихся изменениях рассказал и спикер грузинского парламента Шалва Папуашвили. По его словам, граждане Грузии, находящиеся за пределами страны, «находятся под политическим воздействием в чуждой для них среде и юрисдикции».
«В избирательном праве граждан за рубежом ничего не меняется. Как и прежде, все граждане Грузии будут иметь полное право и возможность голосовать на выборах. Единственное условие — возвращаться на родину раз в четыре года и голосовать в Грузии», — добавил Папуашвили.
