Xi Jinping Called Putin and Delivered a Stark Message: China Reportedly Issues an Ultimatum to the Kremlin

Chinese leader Xi Jinping has reportedly held a personal phone call with Vladimir Putin and delivered a clear and uncompromising ultimatum. According to the claim, China—long regarded as Russia’s most important economic and political partner—has shifted to a position of direct pressure.

According to sources allegedly close to the Chinese leadership, Xi’s message was roughly as follows:

“China will no longer tolerate the prolongation of this war. We demand the immediate start of a genuine process for the withdrawal of Russian forces from Ukrainian territory. If Moscow continues to ignore our signals, Beijing will be forced to employ serious economic measures.”

The report claims that China is increasingly frustrated by the ongoing conflict and is prepared to use its economic leverage if Russia refuses to change course.
