Similar to the previous “spiderweb” in June 2025, the Ukrainians planned an attack on Russia’s strategic jets but failed. According to the FSB, advance intelligence was received about the delivery of weapons by Ukraine’s SBU to the Bryansk region. The drone parts were then transported in passenger cars with trailers equipped with false bottoms. The Ukrainians rented a garage, where they assembled the weapons to be used on the airbase. 24 drones were seized, equipped with AI features and parts specifically made in the UK, US, Canada and Sweden
