🇮🇷🇺🇸 Iran moved a staggering amount of oil out the door before Washington could slam it shut again.

TankerTrackers says Iran shipped more than 80 million barrels of crude and refined products over the past 26 days, a haul worth around $6 billion.

The monitor isn’t calling it over, either. It estimates roughly 30 million barrels are still waiting to leave, even as the U.S. Navy blockade gets reinstated more than a month ahead of schedule.

Another 60 million barrels of floating storage sit inside the blockade line if Tehran has to throttle back output.

Iran insists nothing has changed.

Oil minister Mohsen Paknejad said exports are continuing as usual despite the U.S. revoking its 60-day sanctions waiver last week, arguing Tehran spent years building the mechanisms to blunt exactly this kind of pressure.

He accused Washington of breaking its word, saying it pulled the authorization early, in violation of the waiver terms, after the flare-up at the Strait of Hormuz.
